Actually that's probably not true. I could probably figure it out if I took the time to figure out how wordpress works and read through everything. Alas, I do not have the time nor do I have the energy. What I do have, though, is a wonderful, remarkable husband who has already done the reading and such and mostly has the know how and so he's going to look into fixing it. Actually he already did look into fixing it and said that it will take him a couple of hours... or three. Which is AWESOME.
Except that I want to blog now.
You'll notice that if you go to www.carinslater.com it all looks pretty much the same and you can read all my previous posts. That is not the part I crashed (luckily). The part I crashed was the back end where I go to put my posts in. So, until then I will be on hiatus here. (Can you be on hiatus somewhere? I think so. Usually hiatus involves not working though, and I will still be working. Hrm.)
So here's a short blog post I wrote in TextEdit because I wanted to blog and I thought wp was only going to be mocking me for a short while.

AHHHH! I actually am taking the time to write a blog post and my wp admin is down!
Ok internets, I need some help. The Z is "graduating" to the next class at the end of this week and I want to get something for her teachers. I've been racking my brain for the past couple of weeks trying to figure out what to get them.
Things I know from being the daughter of a teacher:
-don't get your child's teachers mugs.
I'm thinking that making something will be good. Plus yummy things are always good. Originally I was thinking chex mix in something. I think I have chex mix on the brain these days.
I'm pretty sure I've settled on making cookies in a jar. Now this is where you come in, internets. I need to know what kind of cookies to make. Should I make three different kinds? Actually, I'm going to veto that idea, because I have to make three jars of cookies making three of one kind will be much better (read easier).
The next part I'm needing help with is how to decorate the jars. I'd like to have some kind of Z involvement, but I have no idea how to do that. Internets (and awesome crafty sister) help!

Wasn't that a great post? It would have been much better if I had gotten it out on Monday night. Instead I had to figure it all out myself. Did you know that the grocery store (or at least my grocery store) does not sell mason jars any more? Very inconvenient. On the other hand they now sell tupperware with screw on tops that are the right size:

You know what else is awesome? My sister. She told me the other day that she subscribes to my blog. How cool is that? I have a subscriber! Is there anyone else out there who subscribes to me? Because that would make for some more awesomeness.
